    I recently filled up all the space on the internal hard drive of my Xbox One and I purchased a 2 TB external hard drive. How can I move everything saved on the internal hard drive to the external?

    Maximum external hard drive size?

    No, the max EXTERNAL drive on the 360 is 2 TB due to the FAT32 limits. It also has a sector size limitation and not all 2 TB external drives will work on the 360, though you'll have a hard time finding anything official as to what works and what doesn't.

    As Genesis said on the One it is 16 TB, but you are allowed to have 2 drives for 32 TB total.

    This is an artificial limit though as the Win10 OS supports 64 bit sector addressing that can access up to 9.4 zetabytes or 9.4 billion terabytes of data. No such drive exists, of course, so pretty much theoretical.

    Yep same with my 4TB which is considerably larger than yows Mr Boozyhead! How much space does the OS take up in a 2 TB External HDD? :)

    why would the OS be on your external drive? that makes absolutely no sense at all. Each drive once formatted will be slightly different due to the way each drive is writing the info, so unless you want random number plucked out of thin air you arent going
    to get a fully accurate answer

    seeing as you play very few games, you shouldnt ever get close to filling up 2TB of space.

    I have the 500gb internal and a 1tb external and the external is 60% full with 30 odd games on it (probably 18 full games with some 360 and arcade on top) and the internal drive is ni-on empty
