If its like the ME3 MP (which i heard it is) then i wont have to spend a penny. Some peole just cant deal with the grind tho so im guessing many will pay something.

Didn't spend any on ME3 MP so won't be spending any on this. And for those who will good luck to them. My mate spent over £100 and it never gave him a single advantage over any of us. Made him happy every time he bought a chest, bit like doing the
lottery for him but without the need to scratch anything.

 

Nothing. Multiplayer is not something I will ever pay for past the context of expansion packs / DLC 'if' the game is that good that it justifies the purchase. Imo.

No you couldn't Az, you couldn't in ME3 and you won't be able to in this its not PVP.

 

I never got to MP in "Mass Effect 3".

Spent most of "Mass Effect 2" being dazzled by being able to actually port MY Shephard into the game... but by "Mass Effect 3" what EA Bioware had done to the series was even more painfully evident.

I hear they're actually trying to make "Dragon Age 3" more accessible now and the plus here is because they've dumbed their RPG system down so much this actually means adding some of the RPG elements back into the game!

 

The only time I've bought time saving DLC for a game was 'The Time Saver Pack' for Burnout Paradise. I just wanted the cars in that game straight away so my buddies and I could take part in races all using the same cars.

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer was okay but it was just Horde mode and while that is pretty much the only type of online I can tolerate these days, it swiftly got boring.

I just hope in Inquisition they don't do the same thing as Mass Effect 3 and make the multiplayer (or iPhone apps) essential to unlocking all the ending content. True they eventually fixed that but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

To be honest though, what about Dragon Age made them think that multiplayer was a good idea? Mass Effect I can kind of see because of its push to shooter in the second game but putting it in Dragon Age is just something I don't understand.

 

Nah, if you want in game content exclusively locked to a mobile App you'll have to go to "Assassin's Creed: Unity" for that.

 

@Vaynel the MP will have zero effect on the MP.

I can see why they did it (the tons of money they mad from ME3 being one) but unlike most i think this will work. The way im imagining it is as small co-op quests that you partake in, maybe with a boss at the end.

 

They also said that multiplayer would have no effect on Mass Effect 3 single player, we know that was a lie.
