    what new rules

    if you mean switching from ms points to currency how does thst break the law

    currencies change and you are getting your dollar value

    the difference is you can see how much your dollars are worth

    How Long Does It Take To Get Points Back?

    Follow up: I just looked through my billing history, the 1200 points were refunded in November. Odd since my account wasn't migrated back from Russia until last week. Guess they finished that part of the investigation and put the refund through in November,
    and then it just took a couple more months to get the account migrated back to the US.

    Bing rewards not as good of a deal since point switch

    Just save up for $5.00 amazon cards, which will come out to 95 or so per dollar. Then use the amazon cards for MS cards.

    It takes a couple extra mins of time and wait for the actual MS currency, but it will bring the cost down a bit.

    I think its a good idea.I bought an indie game that costs $1.00 and only 1.00 was charged to my account .With points I would have to spend $5.00 for the lowest points bundle just to get that 1 dollar game.Also when I see avatar items' real cost in dollars
    I dont spend as much so it saves me money in 2 ways.
