    I recently purchased a series s, when I registered the device in MS account, it says I got 2 years limited warranty but the end date showing is that from my date of purchase.

    Depending on the option you selected when it was purchased, the warranty will vary. Typically it is a 1-year warranty. But yes, the warranty starts as soon as it was purchased.

    Note: If a reseller purchased it and sold it to you, it will begin when the reseller purchased it.

    I bought Xbox Wireless Elite Series 2 Controller, Here in EU (Greece) all controllers have 1 year warranty and the Series X/S consoles 2 years.

    Might I ask, then is the 1 year warranty for the s|x series consoles ? so they use the same warranty paper notebook for everything ? That seems confusing.
