How many times bans do we get before a permanent ban

Ok, so I’ve received two communication suspensions from the Xbox enforcement team. I have a curiosity, how many suspensions does it take before getting an official and permanent ban? I want to be careful with my actions and play it safe.

Permanent Bans Xbox live

I am looking to see how many people have gotten bans or permanent bans, and were unable to access any of their previously purchased direct downloaded games.

I want to know who is willing to provided information, regarding your banned account. This only pertains to permanent bans at the moment, and affects only your downloaded purchased games, that are now unavailable to you.
This will be put together for a class action lawsuit, in regards to being denied access to previously purchased materials from Microsoft.

my lawyer wants to assess the number of people this directly affects. If you can share this information, or post it, so we can get as many interested parties as possible, on as many social media, FB, Twitter, youtube outlets, that will help immensely.

Permanent bans may be needed in some instances, but not allowing accessed to purchased products, in which the company has been rewarded and profited from is a crime.

Read the terms, they can in fact PERMA ban you, that's the term you are looking for. That's where they permanently ban the account, doesn't matter how much time you paid for. Break the rules and they can kick your ass out, and theirs nothing wrong with it. Don't do stupid shit and you won't get banned.

I'm all for suspensions, and bans. If people are being assholes and they get suspended or muted globally, they are less likely to be tools in the future.

Blizzard is cracking down on trolls/dumbasses in WoW with massive penalties so i'm excited to see if they bring that over to Overwatch. I could see people on xbox raging they got suspended for a day or can't talk for a day.

Can't play nice, don't play... or you know get over being suspended for a time when you break the rules... also xbox and most other services use an escilation scale, depending on how bad the infraction is, you might get a warning, suspension or permant ban. Then, the next time something happens they can see what you've done in the past and make the penalty worse (going from 24 hours to 72 hours for instance).

They don't owe you this, they give it as a chance to prove you aren't a tool. Break it too many times and you are out, buy a new account because you aren't going online with the old one, moral, be good.Click to expand... There is a difference from being permanently and known you are permanently banned and just banned until further notice or the ban is up in limbo. Thats all im pointing out. If he is banned permanently they should say so(maybe they did).

Depends on what was done you could be suspended on the first offense.

There is no magic number.

The best rule of thumb is to just follow the code of conduct and you dont have to worry about getting suspended the code of conduct can be found here:

Oh ok and I was also wondering how many suspension is there before a permanent ban and do pictures count and if I’m not permanent ban but just saying that I am will it go away or do I wait and try to contact support

There is no set amount of times.

You can be permanently banned without ever being suspended or you can have several minor suspensions before being banned.

Depends on the severity of the offence/offence's you commit as well as how many times you been suspended.

Best rule is to not break the rules in the first place then you wont have to worry about being banned permanently.

There is no limit to how many times you can be banned from XBL. So long as you are willing to keep spending money on ms points, Live time and DLC you can get banned dozens of times if you continue to violate the XBL Terms of Service or Code of Conduct.
Also, if you are suspended 'x' amount of times, depending on the offenses, you could be permanently banned.

There are many reasons why someone gets permanently banned, these are just a few. And EVERYTHING associated with that account is forfeit including; gamer score, game saves, ms points, Live time and download content. That is your punishment for not
following the contracts you agreed to. Everything you had before you will have to purchase again and start all over.
