    How many people use their XB1 for more than gaming.


    I feel I am 100% utilizing the intended purpose of the X1. I use it for TV, Blu Ray, gaming, internet (not very often). It is living up to exactly what I had envisioned! 100% satisfied!!!

    Oh I'm used to it. It's like everything else, quality & specialization are being sacrificed for convenience & ease of use. The thing is, since consoles (especially the 360) are becoming extremely low end PCs, I might as well just abandon consoles & start
    gaming on my PC, which also does all of these other things vastly better than the 360. Hell, I've already got an extremely capable gaming PC. I should start using it.



    The only problem I could see as far as this current direction goes is that gamers could actually wake up & realize what they have (with their console) is just a PC wannabe, and actually switch to the real thing. If that turns out to be the case, it wouldn't
    be such an ideal direction after all. I'm just wondering when people are gonna get fed up with everything being dumbed-down. The sad part is most people don't realize things have been dumbed down because society itself has been dumbed down as a result.

    More People Use Xbox Live For Entertainment Than Gaming.

    My Xbox live time is probably 40% Gaming 60% Netflix/Crackle.

    I use my Xbox One for gaming 50% of the time, apps (Netflix, HBO Go) 35%, and 15% movies.

    I have 30 online 16 playing games 14 either in Netflix hulu and TV..

    I actually use other apps more than games to be honest. I use twitch, youtube, netflix, TMNGo, trueachievements and I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting.

    Mostly games, but I'll watch a fair bit of YouTube, Netflix, ESPN & Amazon Prime.
