    How many ohms can a xbox controller put out to a headset?


    I am asking this question cause I need to know if I need to get the DT 990 Pros with 80 ohms or if I have to get a mixamp for the 250 ohms.

    My mic works, but no one in my party can hear me.

    this can actually be a plug and play lead problem!! try taking the battery out of the controller and headset plug controller into the lead then connect to your xbox! then plug the headset in! then while the controller is still connected to the lead and xbox
    put the battery back in hope this helps

    So i can use both headphones ? No matter the ohms cuz i wanna plug them into my controller on my xbox series x without a amp or any soundcard stuff

    Xbox day one edition controller is only 4 days old and already took a dookie -_-

    Can't help with the controller, but of your handy with a soldering iron you can adapt the headset that came with the Xbox One into an adapter for your astro headset. I'm at work at the moment, but ill put a link on here later that shows how its do e.

    Very odd issue and that it repeats with a different controller and headset. It seems like the problem is the way you hold or use the controller for it to have that many variables. I have two boys that have used multiple headsets and ear buds with different
    controllers without issue. Generally it is the headset that will have trouble first because of the flexing in the cord or how they pull it out and push it back in when switching between controllers or their phones.

    Try it on a different Xbox controller to see if something is wrong with that controller.

    Many have said that getting the headset adapter for the xbox one controller resolves a lot of issues with the controller and headset.
