How many of you are sticking with the xbox 360 till the severs shut down?

No, and I'll probably never make the transition. I've had my 360 for about two years now, and I'm very angry that the week after I purchased it, Microsoft unveiled the Xbone. I was hoping everyone in my friend group would have stuck with the 360, but they
all slowly transferred, and I hardly ever get to play with them now. Being a Junior in high school now, and an advanced student at that, I rarely have time for video games anyways unlike I did in 8th grade (When I bought it). I also invested in a 360 in hopes
to stay connected with my friends since we all dispersed to different high schools all over my state, but the last time I ever used my 360 with them was in March of 2015.

 

I got both and I'm keeping the 360 even after the servers shut down. I'll play offline with it. the only games I get for the 360 now are the free gold games

 

I love my 360 - i can't see ever getting rid of it or its games. Right now, I don't care for Xbox One, but i'll eventually start playing it more and more. For now though, the 360 has way more fun games due to how long its been out. There's not that many
Xbox One/PS4 titles that interest me. I also hesitate to even really begin with it due to all the huge downloads just for patches on the newer systems. I love the 360 - just stick in the game dl a ~5mb update and then you're playing.

 

well my 360 cd went down about 1 year i tryd to fix but its a no, just thinking of buying a new 360, i cant play the new games to fast for me why cant they make slow games for us older peeps lol i like all my call of duty games hate to give them up, were
they saying that on the xbox 1 we can still play all my 360 games ??? its a toss up buy the xbox 1 or buy a new 360

 

No, only some 360 games are available to play on the X1 with more to come. It's up to the developers I believe to make their games BC, so they will probably never have them all available.

 

I'm keeping my 360 around just for the chance some of the games I want to play don't become backwards compatible but with the news that all new Games for Gold games will be backwards compatible it helps move me more away from the 360. I find since I got
a One I hardly use the 360. I am trying to finish off my backlog of games but once that happens I can't see that I will keep the console in use after. It will be retired to my consoles cabinet

 

I'm going to change my stance a bit here. I will keep my 360, but once I get the Xbox One, my focus will mostly be on it. Plus, with backwards compatibility on some games, it would be totally fine for me. I may end up using my 360 as a streaming device for
netflix/Hulu/etc.

 

Ill see if MS will have any better rpg and srpg games that what was on the 360. Looks like ps4 has slightly better rpg games but not much. Atm both consoles are doing poor in my book. Both also looks to have promise.
