How long will Xbox Live be supported on a day one Xbox one X?

I’ve have a day one launch xbox and I’ve been hearing rumours that Xbox Live support will be ending for the console around/after christmas and I’ve been trying to find out if this is the case but don’t know where to look.

I was wondering if there is any truth to this rumour and I’m concerned since I play a couple of online games and cannot upgrade my console right now to one of the next gen. I’d like to please know how long Xbox Live support will last on the pervious gen
consoles and the various released xbox ones as if it turns out support will be discontinued for the model I currently have then I will need to look into buying a second hand newer xbox one to continue accessing xbox live and playing the games that need Live.

There's been no official word on if/when Live would shut down for the One. Live is still running for the 360 even. And with backwards compatibility, it'll probably be available for quite a while.

As long as you're in a region where Xbox LIVE is officially supported and the game is available in your region you should be able to download it directly from the Xbox LIVE marketplace the day it's released on Xbox One.

All Xbox One games (as long as they are available regionally) will be available for download from the marketplace on the first day they are released.

We don't sure Xbox Series X release day.

But, 2077 will support Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Will not Xbox Series X only

Elaborating slightly: None of our family accounts on the same xbox aside from mine have xbox live gold (ultimate in my case). Previously on xbox one x, for instance, my wifes xbox account, she would sign into MWF3 360, go to live and join games. Now on
xbox series X, same exact steps, it throws the error. You could always play under other accounts as long as one account was a live paid account (360 or regular xbox one x titles), now it only works for one x or one x series x titles.
