How long will it be until I can change my alias again

Ive reset my account alias and i cant log into it because i have the wrong email name and it sends a verafacation to that email instead of my secondary so i need to know what time i can change my primary alias. This happened months after i changed it.

Trouble changing account email/alias

I am trying to change my account email/alias because the email tied to the account was compromised and closed so I no longer have access to it.

Before you can change the alias you need to add another alias. This I where the problem lies , before you can add a second alias you have to verify the first one. It seems I had not done that but I am in able to do so now as I no longer have access to that
email address.

Any feedback or help would be much appreciated.

access to my primary email address as it no longer exists.

Thank you for contacting Forum support!

Once you make any major account changes there is a 1 month wait period to add or change account information.

Once the 30 day wait period is gone, then attempt to sign into the account.

If you are not able to get the verification code select "I Don't Have any of these" and try to change/ add another option.

no thanks, pick the category(Games)and just pick a contact method (request a call from support or Chat is faster).

I think I understand what you are trying to say correct me if I am wrong.

When you put the new email in for the account alias you misspelled it? Is that correct?

The system then is wanting to verify that you have access to that email since it is not a MS server email (outlook.com, Hotmail.com, msn.com, live.com). and since you misspelled it, it is not a real email address so you can not verify it because of that?

If All of the above is correct answer a question for me

What exactly does it say when you try and sign in with the incorrect email at account.microsoft.com?

Does it say that we need to verify this email and want to send a verification code in a box that pops up?

IF so normally there is a link in that box that says something along the lines of change which email you use to sign in with.

Let me know if any of this helps.
