How Long Until Service Ends?

So recently I received a message stating that microsoft was unable to bill me for my gold subscription. Odd because it said it would renew on the 7th. I figure, if microsoft is smart they'll also bill on the 7th. Apparently not.

So I'm in a situation where the card that is linked to that account has nothing on it and the only other card I could use is inactive while a new one is being sent to me (lost the old one). So, of course I was upset that microsoft wouldn't charge on the
day it renews, making me believe I can use that money on groceries, but understandably that's more my fault for not managing money properly.

Now I can pay as soon as I get my new card (which should arrive in the next two days) or I can go out tomorrow (seeing as it's 11pm) and get a code with cash, so all I'm wondering is how much time I have to fix the issue before my live is cut or I get banned
or something.

How long until email updates?

I want to add XBL points and the system says to enter the code that was sent to my email address... it's an old, deactivated email.

It took me to a screen that let me enter a new address and remove the old one... but it looks like the change will not take place for a month?

Is this correct?

 

Sorry to hear it. You should immediately change your card at commerce.microsoft.com when it comes in. You will still need to pay the outstanding balance owing though or your gamertag will have a billing suspension which means that you cannot purchase or
add items to it until the balance is paid.
