    how long to review a gamertag violation?


    i have had the same gt for years and now all of a sudden, it has been flag and has been changed to this monstrosity.

    i have asked for a review as i feel its unjust.

    does any one know how long it takes for a review?

    and also if they decide to uphold this, will they give me the option to change the gt for no fee?

    I was banned for a bad gamertag. I never received an email saying how long it would be for or anything. the case review wasn't of much help either

    The "enforcement team" is a joke

    How long is the enforcement action for? Short enforcements and console bans are not eligible for a Case Review. Also, in order to open one you must log in to the site with the affected gamertag.

    Forced gamertag changing is taken when the gtag is offensive and violets the service rules as stated in the Code of Conduct. This enforcement act is taken immediately and can't be reviewed.

    If you are not happy with the new appointed gtag you can always purchase a change online

    I don't think there is a set amount of time it can take for a review, but you should be able to check your progress on the enforcement site. If the decision is upheld, they will not give you a free gamertag change.

    You were given a forced gamertag change because the enforcement team would have determined your gamertag violated the code of conduct (it doesn't matter how long you've had the tag, if it violates the terms they will change it). You can try going to

    http://efnorcement.xbox.com     but it will most likely be upheld since it violated the code of conduct. It doesn't matter how long you've had a gamertag, if it violates the code, the enforcement team will issue a forced change.

    It doesn't matter how long you have a gamertag. If it violates the code of conduct it's not allowed. It just means it took that long for someone to complain and the enforcement team to find it.
