How long should it take for xbox one to shut down

    How long should it take for xbox one to shut down


    I'm not sure if it is just me or if the last update did something to slow shut down, my xbox will sit and blink ita light at me a good 10 time before it powers down.

    I'm just wondering if any one could offer any help with this?

    This might be interesting.

    Wonder how long it will take until someone uses it to exploit the Xbox One and the Microsoft ends up shutting it down, though. That kinda **** happens...

    Xbox One will not boot up all the way.

    Hey there J Kingdom 23.

    To check, how long did you hold down both buttons? It can take 20-30 seconds, but the Xbox One needs to be shut down completely first (hold down power button for 8-10 seconds while it's on). Let us know so we can best help out if needed.

    That's normal,it's just uploading your saves etc to the cloud before it shuts down completely.

    Hi

    Sometimes the console can take a little while to shut down if it is performing game or system updates Can you please say how long you have waited for the console to shut down before you have removed the power supply?

    Also if you need to force the console to shut down it is possible to do this without needing to unplug the console. To force the console to shut down press and hold the Xbox Button on the front of the console and it will fully shut down.

    TV worked after setup, but not working now... (error 0x8027025a)

    Holding the power button on the Xbox One to fully shut it down then powering it back on worked for me. It did take a long time for Kinect to torn everything on, but it worked.

    how do I stop my xbox one to "talk" all the time?

    Also it was a long press which takes you to the shut down screen and report a problem and magnifier that's all I get with that one.
