How long is the elite controller 2 warranty?

I just got a replacement controller from amazon. The first one, when registered, had a year warranty. The second one I just registered only showed up to march 20th when I registered it today, and it was a fight with the phone support to get it to april.
They would not extend the warranty to one year, saying there is some sort of debate regarding this controller's warranty.

On accessories the normal warranty is 90 days.

Warranty on technology will depend on the laws of the region you reside in.

Standard warranty on a controller is 90 days in US. In my region it is a lot longer because of the local consumer laws.

Thought it should be 1 year. Sounds like the second controller is a return that has already started its warranty.

It might be too late now, but check to see if an extended warranty could be possibly purchased through Amazon. Warranties, understandably, arent usually a great idea but this is a rather expensive item that gets handled constantly and one bad drop can
mess things up. Now the only thing i can think of is that since this is a replacement controller for a defective one, that could be a reason for 90 days and confusion all around but give it a shot
