How long has Xbox One been out?

Seems I could of still waited to get the Xbone since nothing amazing has come from having a next generation console. I am still on my 360 more than I am on the xbox one. Seriously it wasn't even worth getting. Exclusive games are garbage. smh. You will get
the big F-U when you decide to launch a new console.

I confess to having not made the next gen plunge yet - still milking the 360 for every thing it has Your complaint is one of the main reasons for my delay. Yes Forza was fun (played at a friends place) and Titanfall (imho) was a flash in the pan. Power
star golf was too arcade-ish and didn't do it for me but The Golf Club Game looks much better (though from what I've read on the dev forums the 'other' console seems to be more smooth).

With the release of Xbox One, they really should have released it with a crushing title that would blast sales out from the get go like having Halo 5 as a launch title. Sunsent Overdrive down the road looks ho hum to me as well but Destiny beta was fun
and I'll probably move to a next gen console sometime in September. For a console out now 9 months it does seem to be lack luster... at least for my taste in games. No doubt there are some that love plants vs zombies, crimson dragons, peggle and remastered
versions of old games.

When i look back at Xbox 360 launch and two years after (2007)....Microsoft is doing a better job with Xbox one.Better launch line up,better support (updates) and there are still able to get a great fall/winter line up with exclusives titles....

It wasn't really the case with Xbox 360.

 

i just realized that i haven't turned on my 360 in weeks, not even bothered turning it on to get the GwG. and it is your opinion that the exclusives are garbage, i've had an amazing experience with Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Titanfall, looking forward to Sunset
Overdrive, and thinking about getting Forza Horizion 2, and then Halo:MCC, lots of fantastic games... ya' know... if you're a gamer.

Edit: i take that back, i did turn on my 360 so i could export my Diablo 3 characters.

 

when i went to game to buy mine i didnt know what i wanted had the cash in my pocket and was getting A nxt gen console and i made a mistake i got a ps4 with killzone i traded this for infamous 2nd son i played for 20mins and put my jacket on went down to
game and swaped it for a x1 100 quid down i got a pree owned one with dr3 forza 5 and ryse wish i had gone with my heart in the first place and not what my friends had

to cut a long story short all my friendskeep asking mee to borrow my x1 so they have something to play so i cant see where x1 is going wrong

 

i bought an xbox one and didnt go back to the 360 - whats the point? next gen is here and thats where i want to play.

If i want to play old games i'll emulate them on a pc...

 

November 22nd it released. This launch generation has been the best launch ever. And the exclusive launch games have been awesome. Ryse was awesome, Dead Rising 3 was the best Dead Rising yet, Forza 5 is the best racing sim. Killer Instinct is an awesome
reboot.

 

It's always the folk without a One who shout loudest about how it's not worth having one. Personally I game every night of the week (give or take) and have rarely revisited my 360. Been having a blast since day one November 13!

 

I enjoy XBOX ONE. If you don't like it, then don't play it. So you play XBOX 360 all the time and yet you have no recent games listed, huh.

 

Just like anything we buy, new console, new brand of coffee .. .. .. ( the list could go on and on here ) some will love it, other's like it, others will get slightly bored, others totally hate it, that's life.

Not having a go at the OP but I do wonder about these threads, to me it seems some people go into buying a console with their eyes closed, meaning some don't seem to do their research, what games are being released and when, maybe it's just a case of some
get bored VERY quickly. Personally I'm loving gaming at the moment, still playing quite a few launch day games, news titles starting to come thick and fast now, but hey, that's just me

 

Seems to me google or bing could have told you just how long it's been out. If you just wanted to post cheap shots you can go troll lo lo somewhere else.

Sorry to hear that you aren't happy with your Xbox One purchase.

I just got my Kinectless Xbox One recently with Forza Motorsport 5 and I've love this game. Despite the fact that I sill play my Xbox 360 a lot more than my Xbox One, I don't regret my purcahse at all

With that being said, you are aware that it takes 1 YEAR for the best games to go come out right?

To anyone waiting to purchase a next generation console, here is some advice on how to go about it correctly...

(1) Look at the games that are available or will be available soon when you finally make the decision to upgrade to the next generation console.

(2) Be honest with yourself and as you go through the list of games that are available or will be available soon, see what appeals to you.

(3) If you only like 3 game that are already out or will come out soon, then I highly recommend that you not get this next generation console

(4) If you decide to ignore the gnawing feeling that you have buy the next generation system for the sake of buying it despite the fact that the games that are available or will be available soon don't interest you, please don't blame the console brand
because it is IMPOSSIBLE to please 100% of the people when you're a business.

The reason that I picked-up my Xbox One because they are back to back games that I am looking forward to. These games are...

(1) Forza Motorsport 5

(2) Sunset Overdrive --> The reason that I got the Xbox One

(3) Dragon Age Inquisition

(4) Halo: Master Chief Collection

(5) Resident Evil 1 Definitive Edition

..........

I have 5 games to look forward to, hence the reason that I have an Xbox One now

Add to this the games that are coming out in late 2015 and early 2016, everything is good indeed
