How long for series x replacement?

I waited 3 weeks for my series x to show up and only got a week on play out of it before it bricked itself. I was playing titanfall 2 so not demanding at all and it turned off and wouldn't switch back on. Normally I would have just returned it and got
it replaced bit given the shortage I had to send it to Microsoft for repair/replacement. How long can I expect to wait to get it back? i am on uni break and it is my only real time to play games and I just dropped $700 on a new console only for ot to last
a week.

Hello, sorry to say the typical time for repair is 3 weeks. With the current status of the world it might even be longer than that.

Assuming the same process with the console as with the powerbrick is followed then once your product is received at the service centre, the average time of service is 14 to 21 days, including shipping time

A Series S doesn't have a disc drive, so I'm not sure how you've been using it. But all games that work for a Series S will work on a Series X and vice versa (as long as they're digital on the Series S).

Because its been replaced with the Series X. Maintaining prduction lines is very expensive, so they stop making them when they have a successor. Just save a little longer for a Series X
