    How long for repairs for Xbox series x?


    Just wondering if anyone has recently sent in their series x for repair and how long it took to get it back? My kid stuck something in the disc drive which i assume is not covered by warranty and now discs dont work but i can still play digital games. I already paid the money to get it fixed or replaced but now im worried with delays and low stock/high demand it might be a long time until i can get it back. If anyone has any experience with this please let me know thanks.

    GPU problems with Xbox Series X

    I haven't had a lot of time to play on my Xbox Series X lately. I am having to send it back for repairs again. Apparently whoever did the repair did not replace something correctly.

    After an hour or so with the Xbox on it will flash to a green screen with a loud buzzing sound and completely shut off. It never did this before while I owned it. All others that have experienced this problem have stated this is caused by an overheating issue requiring the Xbox to be sent in for repairs.

    Now in less than a year, my Xbox Series X has had to be sent back twice for repairs. I wonder how long this Xbox is going to last once out of warranty.

    This is very annoying and does not give me confidence in the new Xbox engineering.

    Xbox one be obsolete after series x

    Due to how Microsoft is going into this next generation Xbox Series X games will also be released on Xbox One, as to not leave anyone who can't upgrade right away behind.

    On the flip side to this however any game that comes to Xbox One before coming to Series X will get you a free Series X upgrade with Xbox Smart Delivery. (so long as Developers & Publishers choose to take advantage of it)

    Usually it can take up to 4 weeks to get it back.

    But with Covid happening it may be a little bit longer than that
