How long does it take for a payment for a subscription to go through?

I made a payment on a past due Xbox Game Pass subscription a day ago, but I went to my account on Microsoft.com and the payment says it's still pending. How long is it supposed to take? If this information is needed it was a 1 month subscription for $9.99.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a payment that was pending for a subscription,takes to show back in your bank when you've cancelled it the same day? Thanks

Hey there,

Subscriptions generally go through straight away. If they haven't then look at your bank statement or view your bank account online, you will need to look to see if there is a pending payment from MSFT or Microsoft Store.

If the payment has not gone through yet, this could be because the bank is thinking it is not you who is making this purchase, so try contacting your bank and discuss this through with them, They will have a better understanding as to why it is taking a
long time to go through.

If it has gone through, but has not updated onto your account yet. You will need to contact Xbox Support to get them to look deeper into your account to see what is happening. To contact Xbox Support, follow this link:

You can actually turn off the auto renew on subscriptions by signing into your account at account.microsoft.com/services and there would be an option there to turn off the auto renew as long as your subscription does not have a pending balance due for
instance if for some reason your payment for the monthly subscription did not go through it will be in a pending state.
