How long do Deals with gold last?

I saw some games I wanted were on sale with Xbox Live gold, and I would like to know how much time is left on the sale.

For example I would like to know how long will the sale last for Forza Horizon 4.

Does the countdown only appear if you have Xbox Live gold, because I can't seem to find it. I was planning on buying both the gold and the game.

Usually it does state right under the price/percentage reduction how long is left. It could be in days or hours.

Please note that you need to be logged in for the store page to show your appropriate offer (otherwise it can't tell whether you have Gold or not.) Once you're logged in it should also show you how much longer the offer is valid.

Sales usually start on Tuesdays and run for one week. (Special sales being an exception.)

You can go to the blog of Xbox Live's Program Manager at
https://www.majornelson.com and check his posts about Deals with Gold and it'll show when those deals end. Usually, deals change on Tuesdays and last for a week.

I am reasonably sure that is the second time they had the Hot Deal discount on the Gold for last year, so it may show up again before too long.
