    How is this ok?

On 11/28/17 I ordered an xbox one elite controller from the Microsoft store online. Upon trying to connect my controller to my phone I discovered that the controller Microsoft sent me was made in 2015. 2015! The brand new controller I ordered that Microsoft
sent me was already two years old. The controllers they made in 2017 are bluetooth capable but the ones before that are not. So what I'm wondering is how is it ok for them to send me a two year old obsolete controller when they had the new ones right there
and is there something that could be done about it?

    :)

The elite series one controller never had Bluetooth so you would've received exactly what you ordered if you need Bluetooth you need a new edition standard controller or an elite series 2

As far as I know the Elite series one don't have bluetooth.

I believe it might just be a case of buying the wrong one. Thinking they got a series 2 and ordered the original. There might also be confusion with the regular controllers which had bluetooth added when the xbox one S was released.

Im a tad confused. The controllers were released in 2015, and never had bluetooth until series2.
