How is this console considered Next Gen?

I'm sure you all know and have heard this before. I don't care though, these issues need to be brought up until they are resolved.

It's sad how terrible this console is, and what Microsoft is doing to try and milk more money out of people for substandard software.

How can an Android phone from 5 years ago run music in the background without taking up screen space, but your console, which is a year old, AND 50 TIMES THE SIZE, cannot? It's not a technical issue, because I am very sure someone at Moneysoft is capable
of coding it. If not, you really need to let some people go.

How can you not create an engine that would run the huge amount of arcade games you sold to people on xbox 360?

Oh yeah, because you want them to buy the new xbox one content, because you have to sell your console cheap just to get it in people's homes(I fell for it, won't happen again though. I've been an xbox kid since halo 1/fusion frenzy, and a diehard fan since.
But if I could trade it for a PS4 right now, I would.

Your UI is embarrassing, you're just shoving window tiles in our faces in an effort to push sales of windows phones and PCs. You would think with your awesome new hardware, you could invite friends/view profiles/do anything faster than the previous console.
It's worse, and it's slower. Why would I need a rotating status box of my friends and what they are doing, and then a list of games and who plays them? Why couldn't you just have a list of friends with their status, and let us select what to do with them right
there? Why do we have to go into another screen(even thought we're already on the "friends" screen)that loads slow, just to invite someone to a party or game?

Oh and your live service is down again, and constantly signs me out even if I'm playing offline on a game, causing me to lose progress in my game, which is the dumbest thing it could do, but somehow I'm not surprised.

I think you cut your prices down so hard because you have to just to keep up with the competition. I went against a lot of my friend in buying an xbox one, because I had faith in you guys.

Never again.

Na thats not cheating.But its also not fair to the other players.As u said,sniper game only.so everyone in that game wanted to only play with sniper rifles.And u knew this but used a launcher.So u should of just left the game if u didnt want to play the
game the game the way everyone else wanted to.

I wish the Xbox one was able to play music (without taking up any space on the screen) and play a game at the same time, the 360 was able to do so and it bothers me that this console can't.

I have to agree with the topic creator.

This console is just a HUGE step backwards from the 360 in so many ways.

Sure the graphics are nice but that hardly makes it worthwhile. Even the Playstation 4 can play music in the background.

How is this not a feature yet? Microsoft is sitting with their thumbs up their butts shoveling out these horrible updates that are just mundane. Oh boy we get to choose the opacity of the icons?!!? JOOOOOY.
