How I was robbed of my ambassador badge.

(This may or may not be in the right forum. if it isnt then sorry.)

So, we all know how this goes "Wah Wah I got enforcement struck feel bad for me".

Well. This is actually about how I was robbed. Someone hacked my account exceptionally (Do not know how the password was found out, but changed it immediately afterwards), Sent out a hundred messages and got my account communication banned, thus ripping away my ambassador badge. I took pride in that badge because I was part of a symbol of peace in helping do good in this xbox community, calling toxic people out and getting them to understand as they come, and promoting a better e-space for people around the globe. "Yes, It's just a badge but I liked the benefits from it, and as said before, the feeling it gave as I was apart of the force of good."

"Then why did you do something bad." I did not. someone did it for me without my authorization. So I took to appealing for them and I was thorough with my appeal giving them the full deal of what happened. stating I was experiencing weird xbox problems of keeping logged in and then all of a sudden, these messages came out of my account for some snapchat username, and I was mortified cause I knew that'd count as spam and so it did.

I sent a appeal out, and the 14 days overturn was not approved, ok, so I lost my badge forever, what's next? I'd thought they'd have a reason as to why they didnt accept my well-thought out appeal, but, there isnt a reason. This as a result affected me quite a bit, cause I do remember there used to be reasons given for appeal dismissals or grants.

This turned out to be more or so a rant/vent because I was happy to be apart of something that stood for something. anybody wants to be a somebody right? Well anyways, if you're reading this thanks for listening, I'm just gonna take a break shortly after this message goes up

Now you know how all those other people feel who were wronged? I imagine there are alot of these stories and lets face it... no one really cares until it effects them. You don't have to be an Ambassador to do good btw. You can still help people. You just don't get all those perks that so many think are important. I see everyone here as a gamer. I don't separate them out into categories. Everyone's equal. Have a nice day.

Hey there Rob,

We're still tracking XP/Tenure even though it may not be showing properly on your profile.

Once you get your badge you will be able to access the ambassador forums.

We're rolling out a fix for the XP later next week and badges should be updated sometime next week as well.

If you are talking about the badges that Phil Spencer and Major Nelson has on their profiles then you would need to work for Microsoft/Xbox. As those badges are given to employees only.

Xbox Ambassadors does get a badge that shows that they are Ambassadors. Need to join the program and reach the bronze tier to qualify for the badge.
