How dose some one show up as silver account in live play

I played with this person in a cod ghost game. He was lagging all over and seems to be invincible. So I look at his player card. Silver and it is a new account. How dose this happen?

Gold not shared since renewal

The other accounts will not show as being Gold - they are still Silver members - but while they all play on the same console they can "share" the benefits of the one Gold member. So if one account is Gold and has that console as their Home, that does not
make the other accounts have individual Gold memberships (e.g. they show as Silver here on the forums), but they *can* play multiplayer and use other Gold features while on that console.

Xbox Live Confusion?

Xbox Live is free.

You can make a Gold account, or a Silver account.

The Gold account gives you access to access to play online, along with free monthly games and weekly deals. This has a fee.

The Silver account gives you access to Xbox Live and apps, but you just can't play online or get the free games. This is free.

 

As an Ambassador you should know of the existence of Xbox LIVE trial cards. These grant access to online play but many do not actually make you a Gold member.

 

He could be playing on a slow capped laggy internet connection. As VoteDC has said he is probably using a trial card.

 

I have a extra account that I use exclusively on the Xbox One an I have a account that has a couple months left on my one year GOLD on the 360, my account that I use on the xbox one is displaying silver, even though Im capable of playing MP Forza 5 & MP
BF4, I guess its the same problem as none of my xbox one games are ever displayed individually, instead all it displays is Im playing Xbox One.
