How does Xbox connect you and family?

When I was in 4th grade, my parents got my brother and I our first Xbox 360. Since then, my family has owned 3 separate Xbox 360s and two Xbox Ones along with one PS4 (yuck). My older brother and I have stuck with the Xbox One as it is what we have always
known and all of our friends play on. As I prepare to graduate college, Xbox is one of the main forms of communication between my brother and I. Although my younger brother uses a PS4 primarily, I am happy for games that allow cross-play because it is a way
for us to connect, even if it is not Xbox specific.
