How does the Leveling system work in Fortnite for Ranking up and down?

You cannot level down in Fortnite unless it’s in arena. To level up, you get xp from winning the game, kills, and assists. You also get an XP boost from having a battlepass and playing with your friends.

No leveling up is a pain its very slow as for leveling down thats phyically impossible unless you mean arena which you gain and lose heat

The amount heat you gain and lose varries depending on if you are in solo duo or trios but as of now duos is not available

Leveling up in arena is easy but gets harder as you proceed to next division

The more kills you get the more you level up!

I loved the leveling system in Halo 2, might've been the same for Halo 3, where you could play ranked or unranked games. There was no prestige, your rank either went up or down, so it gave players a reason to always try and do their best. It's a ranking
system I hope returns for the rumored remake and a feature that more games need to have.
