How does the "game art" update for a game?

So Destiny 2 just received an update for the coming expansion. With it the game art is supposed to be updated. I know In Destiny 1 the game art updated three times.

I am aware the game art updated because when inviting people to play Destiny 2 the games logo is different however on my dashboard it is the default look, so how can i get the art to update on my dashboard? I restarted the console twice and fully turned
it off to no avail.

Also just to clarify by "game art" I mean the logo of the game when it is on your dashboard and the background art of it also on your dashboard.

Cover art missing in my games?

clearing the cache and re downloading should work, trying deleting a title update for the games and update it again, then you should be able to get the cover art

hmm... i am having the same problem. i noticed that the cover art isn't shown and the game states that it needs a title update but it does not initiate it at start up. this is perplexing and discouraging. can someone shed some light.

Not all games have a downloadable manual available. If it does, it will be on the game page on the marketplace, on the left side, just below the box art and info.

Look I didn't pay attention in art class, but the only people saying video games aren't art have no argument for it. usually it's along the line of " you can play outside what the developers wanted therefore it can't be art" which is retarded, the beauty
of video games is you play how you want.
