How does my console know it's "all access"

Hey Crackalak,

I had the same concerns when I upgraded.

You should have had a pop-up when the Xbox was setting up saying that there is Xbox All Access available to claim on this console. If you had this pop up, claimed it, and signed into your standard XBL account, it should've been applied automatically to your
account.

Best thing to do is check your 'Subscriptions' in the settings. Mine went from saying 'Next payment due' December 2020, to it now being November 2022.

Hey thanks for your quick reply, but no, when i was setting my new console up i didnt get that pop up. When i go to my subscriptions, it still saya its due to come outta my bank on the 25th November at £10.99. not sure what to di really

How far does the console load before it freezes? Can you access the dashboard at all?

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to update your console.

Does it let you access the base dashboard at all? The home screen?

If it does, then I would suggest trying a soft reset of the console as outlined in

How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games
&
apps.

If it does not let you access anything, I would then say to try the steps outlined in our

Xbox One Startup Error Solution.

When you get a chance give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped.

I can't access live anyways with the fact that the update won't work. So no update no live. All I want to know is why does my console not have the 4gb card that it is supposed to.
