Voice commands are always available across all gaes Davey, so you can still use the UI with voice, it's only the infra red and motion stuff that gets re allocated. My comparison comment wasnt directed your way.

The XBox ONE's that are being sold without Kinect have no more processing power than the ones being sold with Kinect.

They're the same machine.

Explaining that a company has more resources to draw on if they're not using Kinect is deceptive because for any company that actually knows how to make a game it's going to make absolutely ZERO difference.

As for the experience as mentioned above your gaming experience is improved as you can actually tell your characters what to do and they will do it as if they were stood there with you and listening to you, rather than pausing the action to navigate menus.

I certainly understand the machines are the same, but I do think the extra resource issue has been handled relatively badly, would love to know what a real developers views on it would be.

Always more than one way to skin a cat, good ways and bad ways to use any machines resources, and recent times have shown that even experienced companies get it wrong.

Its nice to see a developer really start getting behind voice commands, they just need to start using the other benefits now.

Thanks for the info, sorry I wasn't interested in a XB V PS per say, I was just interested in how the kinect makes a better gaming experience, and does the resource issue come into play.

I thought even with voice commands are being used then the extra resources when not available, if thats not the case it, it does beg the question why are there so few voice commands in other games such as destiny and COD.

Really wanting to get EA access to try it, but know I will want it asap and won't be allowed to buy it until after xmas, guess I will have to wait a little more.

Game looks and plays just fine, really enjoying it, as for Kinect it's only using voice so the extra resources are available as there is no motion sensing You can give commands to party members or use it to open the map, inventory etc without having
to go to main menu then sub menus, works really well. The PS4 version has the same functions if the playstation camera is connected I think. Personally I couldn't give a stuff what it's like in PS4 I'm thoroughly enjoying it on the One, would rather spend
my time gamIng than comparing. What GTA has to do with Dragon Age is beyond me.

I'd actually discovered this myself in the options menu.

Works exceptionally well.

One of your characters is taking heavy damage?

You no longer have break the immersion by hitting the "strategy button", thumbing through your party and selecting the wounded player, then making them take a potion.

You just tell them what to do and they do it.

Another Kinect example of something subtle having a huge impact on the game.
