How Does Kinect Work With Dragon Age Inquisition?

So I realised that Kinect works with this game.

But they haven't given me any sort of tutorial on this yet.

How does Dragon Age Inquisition work with the Kinect please?

Problems with some content that I own.

I have some DLC for Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II that will not show up in Dragon Age Keep. The DLC that does show up has my gamertag associated with the content while the others have blank gamertags and won't show up. So I believe that because of
this Dragon Age Keep only shows the content associated with my gamertag and the others wont show cause Dragon Age Keep does not know I own said content. So my questions is how do I get the DLC that I have become assoicated with my gametag?

 

Connection issues?

I can log in to some games (Pinball Arcade, for example), but not others including Madden, Dragon Age, and Minecraft. Amazon Prime and ESPN video apps work, but Netflix and Starz does not.

In addition, all of the sudden my Xbox One Kinect does not work properly.

 

If you jump, your character jumps.

I'd actually discovered this myself in the options menu.

Works exceptionally well.

One of your characters is taking heavy damage?

You no longer have break the immersion by hitting the "strategy button", thumbing through your party and selecting the wounded player, then making them take a potion.

You just tell them what to do and they do it.

Another Kinect example of something subtle having a huge impact on the game.

Great feature.

 

Does the game not have a tactics menu?

First thing I do on acquiring a new character in Origins is alter their tactics so they take a potion when at 25% health. A one time change and they can look after themselves.

I suppose I could carry on playing the 360 version to find out myself but I'm holding off because I don't want it to ruin my impression of the game.

So does the game suffer for using the kinect? (and therefore not freeing up the extra resources)

 

Not sure. I do know that it is 900p on Xbox One and 1080p on PS4. But then again GTA 5 doesn't utilize kinect but suffers from pop ins and also doesn't have as much of a detailed world as the PS4 version.

 

I guess the next question would be, if the xbox uses the kinect does it make it better than the PS4 version?

to go to main menu then sub menus, works really well. The PS4 version has the same functions if the playstation camera is connected I think. Personally I couldn't give a stuff what it's like in PS4 I'm thoroughly enjoying it on the One, would rather spend
my time gamIng than comparing. What GTA has to do with Dragon Age is beyond me.

Yes, you get a better experience on the ONE than you do with the PS 4 unless you bought the Playstation version of Kinect (they have one).

It's like "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" where when PS 4 users weren't insisting they could see the difference they were navigating menus and swapping Laura's weapons with their thumbs.

So last gen.

 

Thanks for the info, sorry I wasn't interested in a XB V PS per say, I was just interested in how the kinect makes a better gaming experience, and does the resource issue come into play.

I thought even with voice commands are being used then the extra resources when not available, if thats not the case it, it does beg the question why are there so few voice commands in other games such as destiny and COD.

Really wanting to get EA access to try it, but know I will want it asap and won't be allowed to buy it until after xmas, guess I will have to wait a little more.
