How does giving age exceptions work

My parents have given me permission to play battlefield 1 and they need to give an exception to play the game but every time it locks me out of the game after I have logged out. So I have to ask and they do it manually every time I want to play the game because the permanent exception option doesn't show up.

If your account is managed by parent under Xbox Family settings app, only parent or organizer of the Xbox Family settings group can make changes of the account. Access to certain online features in child accounts depends on the game and platform, as well as the parental controls that have been set. Account can be terminated if found breaking to some agreement being set by the game developer support team and Microsoft Services and Agreement.

Does give a error message except cannot connect to router. Havnt tried a different cable but tried a different console using the same canle and it works

This does not work, I've posted the picture. The option is grayed out and does not give me the option to change those settings for the hands free AG. If it wasn't grayed out I would have already changed it.
