    How does console streaming work?


    How does console streaming work. Is my controller supposed to stay connected to the Xbox? That's the only way it ever lets me do control anything. When I connect my controller to my phone it only lets B work and when I press it gives me a message saying do I want to back out. My controller is up to date and console streaming never works.

    I'm wondering if you remote play your xbox while it's off (on instant on mode) will it damage the xbox?

    the xbox is actually on when streaming, impossible to be off when streaming as it does all the work, are you sure your not streaming a game from xcloud instead as that does not use your console.

    I have no lag or any other stuttering problems when playing online on the console. It's only when using the game stream function to the Xbox App on my laptop.

    How does that use more internet ?

    How fast does my internet have to be to make the streaming run smooth ?

    Do any of you load custom music while playing/browsing/etc?

    BlackSilverAce @ You can use a USB stick to load music, or stream from the PC to the console.

    I've not figured out how PS3 Media Server works correctly to listen to music on 360, it does fine with videos, though.

    I connect the console to router by wire.(ethernet) and my PC was connected to a static IP which was assigned to my router. The stream works fine if the console and PC stay within the same LAN. However, the stream function by internet does not work since
