How does changing my account alias affect on my Xbox One?

Ok, so here is the thing.

I started playing when using a special email address which was *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***

Now, after so many years, this address cant receive any emails and stopped working, but my GT is tied to the account.

I have added a Microsoft alias to this account which is *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** and made it as a primary. I am waiting to delete the old @.co.cc alias.

Now, what happens if I delete that old @.co.cc and keep the @outlook one as a primary? Will everything still work?

Im having problems changing my email address associated with my xbox live profile.

i spoke to someone last week about deleting and changing aliases on the microsoft account linked to my xbox live account.

thanks for the reply, just want to know, my email is already a microsoft account, will this affect the chances of me making my email an alias? Also, if I make my email the primory alias, will this affect my dad’s way of logging into his microsoft account?

it will work, though it may take a to update while if multiple Services are connected.

you said you already set your new Outlook.com as Primary so it should all be fine and done immediatly.

i would also check if your security Information are up to date - you can find them by clicking on "Change Password and more"

Only thing I have to add to prideloss: you normally need to delete your account and redownload it again to get the new login credentials working on your xbox One.
