    How does a Gifted Xbox One Live account Supposed to work?


    I recently purchased a day one edition Xbox One S for no other reason that I could give my old Xbox one to my Son and Grandson. Now when I play Madden I frequently get a message saying my profile is in use and I get thrown out of my Madden Season. This
    happens when my grandson logs into my profile to play a game. We each have Xbox Live subscription. My son is in the Navy so he does not have a lot of money laying around to re-purchase games I will never use again. How do I gift everything over to their
    profile. so they can have the console and the games?

    Yes! Your scenario above is exactly what they hope for, but it would all be using Xbox 360 consoles (I'm not sure if that makes a difference). Each console does have a separate copy of the game.

    I think each person does have an Xbox live account. I'm really unclear how Xbox live works even though I know I'm paying for it for my Son. Is the Xbox Live account attached to a specific account or is it attached to a specific console?

    I'm afraid that it isn't possible to gift (transfer) digitally purchased content (like games) from one account to another account.

    I would also advise to limit access to your profile on the other console, to prevent your grandson signing in on your account. An account can only be online at one Xbox One console at the same time.

    Does it match your account region ? Xbox gift card currency is region locked so if you bought a UK card but live in the US it won't work

    And no you can't refund a gift.card as they are one time use
