"How do you want to pay the rest?"

I currently have $36.27 on my account (pre-paid cards) and attempted to buy ARK. It says to add a credit card to pay the rest, which confuses me as I've never had this issue before. If it's adding sales tax to my digital purchase, which I'm attempting to
make with prepaid cards, I find this very confusing. I have never had an issue paying tax on the Marketplace before. This seems like a recent addition, and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot tell you how many times I want to correct a youngster for doing something they should not.

 

You may just not have enough on your account to cover the tax. The ability to split payment was added when Microsoft switched from points to the currency system.
