How do you turn off the remote control?

Stupid question but just got the remote control for Xbox one and all works fine - except it wont turn ITSELF off. When they XBOX One has gone off the remote sits there blinking at me and the only way to stop this annoyance is to take out the batteries when
its not being used!!

I have new batteries in it and have tried other new batteries but the same thing happens, I can not be doing with that flashing at me all the time, would rather do without.

Eg. A remote control car has a fully charged battery in it. It's receiving power. It also has a switch which is off. Now pick up the remote controller for car and turn it on. Now try and drive that car. How far did it go?

Lol what? I don't even need to use the remote to turn on my TV. With Bravia sync the TV turns on or off automatically. But there is still power going to the TV so it's not fully OFF

 

How do you turn vibration off?

Easiest way to turn off vibration is to turn off your controller. If you dont want to do that then there is no other way.
