How do you remove someone from family?

There is an issue on the Xbox server side preventing individuals such as yourself from accessing their profiles on the Xbox console itself. They became aware of the issue over an hour ago and are trying to find a fix for it currently. The good news is

To check the birth data do http://account.live.com sign in there and check on the Account Summary page. BTW, changing it there won't change the date of birth now used in the Xbox system.

To elaborate on Sage's question...The reason it's probably asking you for a parent email is that the account you are trying to download M rated material with is not at the age of majority in your region. www.xbox.com/.../livetou.
In the US M is for mature audiences, meaning 18 years (age of majority) or older.
