How do you predownload pre order games

I've pre ordered 4-5 games and I don't have the options to predownload any of the games. I thought maybe they downloaded in the background but as of midnight tonight I'm currently having to leave my xbox on all night to download gears of war and dishonoured.
It's a shame as I looked this morning to see if I could and it just said play on 28/08/15

Can someone please help as I want to make sure I'm more prepared when forza 6 and black ops are released

Destiny digital guardian edition pre-order

If you want to predownload then you'll need to pre-order the digital version. If you want the red sparrow then you'll need to pre-order from Gamestop.

 

Destiny 2 beta code

Sorry to hear it. If the pre order was a digital copy then go to the Xbox store and search for Destiny 2 - Beta to predownload it. If this was for a disc copy then keep an eye on your email address for the redeem code.

 

When they're able to be pre-loaded.

Check Xbox on social media for news of when your preordered games are able to be preloaded.

 

Preloads are often available like the day before, I dont know if they do it with every game or not .

 

It can be a few weeks before launch. (If the game is ready)

I downloaded gears 2 weeks ago.
