How do you play

I prefer the jihadist suicide bomber style... I run in drop my payload with no real intention of getting out alive. If I survive Allah be praised and if not bring on the virgins!!!!

Mostly I like the run-n-gun approach in SP, unless tact is the only way to progress.

MP I try to play for the team... But occasionally I just go b@!!$ out and it's just about having fun my way. Gotta balance the two.

Good vs. bad path... Always good. Not sure why... But the first time I played the original Bioshock, I harvested all the little sisters... It felt oddly wrong, and a but disturbing Tbh.

I went tactical in Deus X: HR, but full stealth in both the Riddick games... Apart from those two games, I'm generally not much into stealth... But those Riddick games were the best movie tie in games I've ever played. Extremely underrated imo.

More often than not I am pretty tired....in which case I choose the "no-thinking" approach....

1. Place IEDs behind myself

2. Ensure I have unlimited supply of ammo

3. Pick biggest gun (LMG)

4. Point gun in (general) direction of enemy

5. Hold trigger

6. Reload

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until someone sneaks past my IEDs and stabs me!

Then, once I'm tired of losing.....I switch to stealthy/sensible approach!!!

 

My play style depends on what I am playing.

Good vs Evil: Always good. I tried to play DarkSide on KOTOR...couldn't do it.

FPS-When playing MP it depends on the game type. I try to play Objective and defend whatever and die a lot in the process. I don't care about my K/D...it's like 0.61 or 0.62 for COD. I want to win. Sometimes I'll run and gun and die even more lol.

I can't do sneaky I fail horrible; I won't even tell you how many times I have to play through that one level on COD 4. You know that level Ghille's in the Mist or whatever. I hate that level.

 

I like a bit of both. Stealth is tense and on edge, but running and gunning like a hero also has its merits.

 

I just play however I feel like at the time.

Though I think what better suits this thread as an answer is a friend and I used to say "Ok, let's do this part SAS" referring to the SAS soldiers and it basically meant sweeping through the area without being detected and was usually said while playing
the Halo games.

 

The only game that comes to mind right now is Splinter Cell. When I play it alone, I will try to be stealthy until I'm seen, and then I unleash a barrage of bullets. I'm picky about who I play games like that with. If they are too fast for my liking,
they can play it on their own. I don't mind playing nurse for a while, but if I'm having to save my partner every 30 seconds because they should be playing stealthy but refuse, then I'll probably make up some excuse to leave the game, like I need to do laundry
or something.

 

In games like Watch_Dogs, Splinter Cell, Max Payne it's all about the stealth (as much as possible). In games like Wolfenstein, I mix it up between running and gunning and stealth... depending on the mission. In GTA I tend to go guns blazing, but like I
said before it's depends on the mission.
