How do you play games?

I just got Xbox one today and having a really difficult time getting any games to work. I have a solid wireless connection and have tested the connection , works fine. I installed both games, however it is asking me to sign in to play a game? Why
am I not able to play this offline? Anyways the next process is really Frustrating, I go to add profile and it keeps telling me to check my home network? I have defaulted back to factory settings, same result. If I can't sign in to play games, how can you
play games?

Should I return this, I do not understand how to play games. Any advice?

In games like Watch_Dogs, Splinter Cell, Max Payne it's all about the stealth (as much as possible). In games like Wolfenstein, I mix it up between running and gunning and stealth... depending on the mission. In GTA I tend to go guns blazing, but like I
said before it's depends on the mission.

 

How do you play

Really depends on the game, since I usually let my role in the game determine how I play.

But some general preferences of mine:

Good vs. Evil: I prefer to play good. Even in games like GTA, I try to minimize killing and even stealing of cars. I don't kill animals in games unless it's forced or self-defense related. (I pretty much never got any advanced equipment in FarCry 3 because
I wouldn't go skinning.) When you are faced with those 'Shoot the good guy 'cause you have to' QTE's in a game, I always just try to shoot off to the side or just let time run down to see if there is an alternative before I kill someone. In games where you
can go lethal vs. non-lethal, I try to do non-lethal in any situation where the 'bad guys' are just guards or some other person who really hasn't done anything to you.

Stealth vs. Action: This is very game based for me. In general, I prefer stealth, though. For one, you typically have to kill less people this way, and two, it's usually more of a tactical challenge and less a reflex challenge. If I want to test my reflexes,
I'll just pop in Titanfall.

Multiplayer Style: I play the objectives. I care about my stats... but I care about winning more. Players who cost you a game because they are worried about their K/D and won't just guard the flag or whatever irritate me.

Unplug your Ethernet cable or disconnect wifi. You will be able to sign in offline and play any single player game.

As for playing games, what I did was I went to settings, went to wireless settings and I disconnected from the internet. I was then able to sign into my account offline and able to play games.

 

Actually, signing in should be working fine now.
