  2. How do you play in open world?

So I am wondering how I can join random open world games?

I go to play gta v online and it always puts me in an empty game. I select find new session, again, empty.

I thought it was supposed to put me in games with other people : / nothing online about being alone.

    how do you open NAT?

Please provide the following information so that we can help:

Who is your ISP? (Internet Service Provider):

    Modem brand & model number:

    Router brand & model number:

Is your Xbox One connected via wired or wireless?:

Things you have tried (UPnP? Manual port forwarding? DMZ? Wired Xbox One directly to modem?):

Is UPnP Enabled on your router?

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?

    Any Error Codes you encounter:

Do you get a Teredo IP error?

Does the WAN/Internet IP (NOT the LAN IP!) listed in your router's web interface match the IP reported by Trace My IP | IP Address Tracker | IP Tracer | Computer Hardware IP Visitor Location ?:

The routers a linksys E2000 and the modems an actiontech GT701D using a verizon ISP. I've tried port forwarding and DMZ along with everything else I could think of but it just won't get off moderate. I tried this back in the day for the 360 and it worked
the first time I tried, so I have to admit, i'm a little confused. No errors, UPnP is turned on aswell. Internet IP says 192.168.0.2 but my IP was traced as a different number.

The IPs not matching confirms what I suspected, which is that your Xbox is behind multiple layers of NAT (double NAT), which prevents you from getting open NAT. (Your actiontec "modem" is actually a gateway, which is a modem+router, this plus your own e2000=double
NAT.). You need to put the actiontec in bridge mode following these instructions:

    support.reachone.com/configure-actiontec-gt784wgr-dsl-modem-for-rfc1483-transparent-bridging-mode

Once you do that, you will need to configure your E2000 to perform the PPPoE login using the login/password from your ISP (you may be able to see this in the actiontec). Otherwise, you will not have Internet access. Once this is done, use the e2000 to
forward ports via UPnP, manually, etc.

Now how would I go about configuring the router to use the login and what password should I be looking for? At the moment, i'm not seeing anything in the router settings for PPPoE. I don't want to mess with something and end up without a connection. I would
have three angry people ready to rip my face off.

On the e2000, look for a WAN connection setting that is probably set to DHCP currently. You'll want to set this to PPPoE. As far as login and password to use, if they aren't visible in your actiontec, you may have to contact your ISP to get them.

Ok so when I change it to PPPoE, I need to use the info I use with my ISP, right? because I noticed that when I switch the option to transparent bridge, different info shows up. It's literally shows up the same as the info in the example you posted. Not
    Applicable, blah blah blah.

Yes, use the info from your ISP. It (at least the username) may have been displayed in the actiontec before you switched the option. Basically, you need to configure your router to match what the actiontec was set to before you switched it to bridge mode
(was the actiontec set to PPPoE?).

Well good news! Doing what you suggested, I was able to get the NAT to open. I have to admit, was a lot easier that I expected it to be. Only downside is that whenever the modem get turned off, it resets everything so I have to do it over..and seeing as
the power to everything is connected to a light switch, it kinda sucks but oh well lolz. Now to just figure it how to do this for ghosts. Thanks a bunch bro!

For Ghosts, try forwarding the following in addition to the normal ports:

    3075 TCP and UDP

    3076 TCP and UDP
