How do you make a server on a ps4 or play on crossplay

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to try and help.

From the research I did, I found the Bedrock version of Minecraft launched today, 12/10/2019, for the PS4 console. With this update to the digital copy of Minecraft: PS4 Edition, you should be able to cross-play with the other consoles on the Bedrock coded

It is a free account you can use to sign in on a device. It allows Minecraft players on PS4™ to
play with other players on non-PS4™ devices like iOS, Android, Xbox One, Switch, and

Having a Microsoft account also enables the portability of your Marketplace (devices other than PS4) or Minecraft Store (PS4) purchases
to other devices and platforms. You can create a new Microsoft account here. Please note that once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation™ Network account,

If you can sign in with your Microsoft Account on
account.xbox.com, then the issue lies with your PlayStation account settings or you would need to contact Mojang to report the issue.

If you have the Bedrock version for PS4 then you would be able to play crossplay between Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile.

Do note that PS4 does not have the ability to access Realms or Servers at the moment. You can only join friends on a world.

Microsoft should consider seriously these Xbox disadvantages. Maybe the next console that I buy will not be a Xbox.

all third party games use their own servers, all microsoft servers are for 1st party and accounts etc. xbox live cash does not pay for third party devs server costs.

Xbox Live is only used for authentication

Activision runs every aspect of their game servers, including whether crossplay is allowed

So you'll have to ask them why you can't disable crossplay

Microsoft has no ability, and is in fact legally prohibited from having anything to do with their business until if and when the merger is complete. They do not dictate how third parties run their servers.
