    how do you force a game update on madden 17 on the xbox 1? I had a update at 1.21 gig stuck at 19% I deleted the game reinstalled it now there's no updates what so ever. it won't let me online either and I'm signed into xbox live.

    So...How do you delete a game?

    Curious.. Obviously I am not full, but I can't find out how to delete an app OR game...

    So...How do you delete a game?

    I just discovered this and investigating shows there is NO WAY to manage the hard drive storage and no support for external storage.

    how do you force a game update?

    Not sure if it will work but what I would try is uninstall turn off xbox unplug the power for a few minutes. Turn box back on and try to reinstall.

    Another thing to try is have the game installed,go to power settings & put your console in instant on mode.

    Turn off your console & leave it for half an hour-an hour then turn it back on.

    Any updates should download automatically while the console was off.

    Most of the time you would only have to start the game to have it update, or if that does not work just giving it a quick hard reset will work.

    Most of the time you would only have to start the game to have it update, or if that does not work just giving it a quick hard reset will work.
