How do you change the main tile on the home screen?

I read somewhere that when you don't have an active app, the main tile is supposed to show your most recent app, but it doesn't. It always shows Halo: The Master Chief Collection. No matter how long ago I played it, as soon as I turn on the xbox (or close
the active app), it appears front and center, my most recent app relegated to the row beneath it. I don't see any way of 'setting' an app to that tile, is this a bug?

how to disable advertising and othes stufs on home screen (dashboard)

As the others have mentioned. There's no way to disable the Sponsored adds, nor the Featured tile. You do have the option to hide some of the tile content that's displayed however. It doesn't completely remove the tiles, but it will change what's displayed
to a certain extent.

Say you see the tips or Gamerscore leaderboard tiles in the middle of the Home dashboard. If you press the menu (start) button on your controller. You'll be given an option to give feedback. You can select the + to show more like this, or you can select
the - to show less like this. This is really the only method of changing some of what you see on your main Home dashboard currently.

can not get minecraft soa skin pack

Hey there Peter! When you look on the Dashboard, on the Home and Games hubs, what do you see as the main tile there? The SoA tile should be featuring Tony Hawk (I believe), but should make reference to SoA. Let me know what you are seeing instead, thanks!

The main tile is usually the most recently used app/game so it shouldn't be showing Halo MCC if you haven't used it. Although, I have seen the main tile change to the game that is in the disc drive previously but as I generally use digital games this doesn't
happen often.

Is Halo MCC in your disc drive?

Nope, I have the digital version, I've never even used my disc drive. I can play or start 10+ apps aside from MCC, but as soon as I force close the active one it will shift down to the 4 tiles below the large one, and MCC will appear as the large tile. Same
with a system restart (power saving mode).

This no longer works. The question was how do you change since the update. Home screens are now full of junk tiles you can't seem to remove.

Wait, you talking about the "home" screen not the "My Pins" screen. As far as i know that tile on the home screen will get replaced by other tiles over time. I could be wrong though.

Its main tiles are comprised of the experiences and apps you were last using, so it's convenient to go right back to what you were doing when you quit. And it's unique for every individual user with a profile.
