How do you buy games using Microsoft funds/transactions???

Because it says on my account that I have $50 dollars from my gift card in transactions on my account but it only ever shows me the option too use my credit card can someone tell me how i buy it using my Microsoft account money not my credit card?

Code redemptions do not appear in your transaction history - that's for when you buy from the game using funds (either Microsoft Account funds, credit/debit cards or PayPal).

The game should however show up in your Ready to Install list if it's not already installed on your console, but you seem to have it working now so all seems good.

 

Charged from a credit card, although there is account balance

To note, if you're buying Xbox 360 games you need to do this from the console if you want to use the funds in your Microsoft Account. The web-based Xbox 360 Marketplace does not support using these funds.

Try again from a console and you should find it works.

That doesnt work because every single time I try too purchase a game the only option that shows up is Credit card.

On what game ?

Wait did you migrate your account region or buy out of region currency cards?

If so then currency cards don't work accross regions you must buy cards from your actual region

 

I have the same issue, Been sitting on Credit, bought some stuff...

No option to charge the Microsoft Credit presents itself, Card gets charged instead.

Remove Credit card from file, try to purchase something with existing credit...

Can not do as there are apparently no payment options on file...

 

Make sure you're making the purchase on the console. The website will not work with the currency.
