How do you add Xbox friends on the Xbox.com website?

Thank you for contacting the forums. When you are signed into your Microsoft account click on it and select 'Xbox profile'. It will redirect you to a new page and on the right hand side where it says 'Friends and Clubs' enter in the GamerTag you want to
add. Their profile should now appear on screen and click on the button that says 'Add friend'.

http://xbox.com/status will show you what's going on. That problem is temporary, and only affects the Xbox.com website ability to add PayPal. If you need to do that, please use your Xbox itself to
add the PayPal account.

Did you add her from the One or was it from the 360/Xbox.com? I have one friend who I added on my Xbox One who does not show up on my friends list on the 360 or on Xbox.com. I'd bet that is the issue - try adding her from the Xbox website or a 360 console.

To add a friend by username, press the Xbox logo button and press the RB to scroll over to the people tab. Scroll down and select the "Find someone" option. This will allow you to type in and search for individuals
by username. When you find the individual you want to add, click on their profile and select "Add friend".
