How do you acquire the lock picking skill?

there's a perk in lock picking that keeps picks from breaking (level 60 or 70 lock picking). so its not a big deal if you do turn it in.

[/quote] This game is filled with glitches like this one and yes, I know all that stuff but when it tells you there is coin in the chest and you open it and its empty oh well, nice job Ubisoft.

It appears I no longer can play my new game of AC 3 ($65.00)

worth of nothing. Every time I play the game there is a clear transparent box

that freezes up my game and system therefore, I bought a game that will not work

and other new games like MOH has no issues like AC 3 it has to be Ubisoft issue

within the game.

I reported this one and other glitches on the AC website to support who knows right know i can't even play the game because of this issue. When I saw how much trouble i was having with picking a chest I new more were on there way and I was right.

As you play the campaign you are given points to spend to unlock Skills. You have 3 levels of lockpicking that you can unlock. Go to Customize character and look in the Skills section.

get 100 or over lock pick skills then or give the home less guy your water don't know why you would do that tho but get over 100 lock pick skills for the door you are trying to get open

What I would like to know is, how are you forced to have lockpicking as an important skill? I haven't put any points into it and have yet to run into something I can't pick the lock on.

tip get your lockpick skills up; unlock perk "wax key"

if a key exsist for the lock you'll get a copy when you pick it(EVERY LOCK THAT HAS A KEY TO IT,locks you can't pick you won't get a key).

join theives guild and buy every lock pick you can(1 at a time helps build up speech)

You can hang on to the Skeleton key for as long as you like. Use it to level up your lock picking skill. I'm lvl 98 using it; get to 100, then finish the quest line. I have over 400 lock picks.
