How do we fix a lag between the controller and the console?

We just did a restart of the console as well as an update for the controller and it’s actually a little bit worse. My son is playing Fortnite.

dont forget us humans have a lag of 150ms lol, The time between we see and we do so any lag in tv's is as good as unnoticeable for us normal folk.

Im not sure a Bluetooth remote like this will work on your console as it wont be able to connect to the consoles Bluetooth system, and even with an adapter, there's a chance there will be "input lag" between the controller and console.

Its best to find another controller that is compatible rather.

Silent Paradigm isn't wrong, however aside from turning off your advanced setting i.e noise reduction, mpeg reduction,and or motion flow... what you may also be experiencing is known as game lag, however it is not as the name would suggest. Game lag is
caused when wireless signals are lost or skewed between a wireless controller and console causing gamplay to be slightly groggy. This is why most mlg players prefer wired controllers or smaller hdtvs. A wired controller offers a direct kinection between controller
and console aliminating signal loss all together, where as a smaller hdtv forces the player to sit closer to the console aliminating possible signal loss with a wireless controller.
