how do u cancel your automatic subscription renewal

man...i've tried and tried for hours now and im just frustrated...i followed the instructions in the support section over and over and all it does is try to make me renew my subscription...anyway to explain exactly how to get there...i've tried on my xbox
1...my 360..and my laptop and get the exact results..almost seems like xbox took it away to make me renew

Xbox Live hard to cancel

I got a deal when I set up my new profile on a 3 month subscription to Xbox Live. I paid $9.99 for 3 months. Then I forgot to cancel it and they automatically charged my card. I just figured out how to remove the automatic renewal but I have a charge pending for another 3 months. It is so hard to cancel a subscription.

You can cancel your Xbox subscription either immediately or by stopping automatic renewal.

If you cancel your Xbox subscription immediately, you’ll also lose access to the subscription service at the same time. If you stop automatically renewing your subscription, you can continue to use the
subscription service until it expires.

Cancelling means you want the subscription to end immediately. So by cancelling, you ended your subscription.

In the future, what you would want to do is turn off auto-renewal. That will keep your subscription from automatically renewing, but won't cancel your remaining subscription.
