How do remove cortana from my xbox one

I can not begin to write how much I hate cortana, but I will try. The xbox one voice commands are now garbage. Why wouldn't they just change "xbox bing" to "xbox cortana". We could still use the good voice commands. It is actually easier for me to get up
and manually turn system on and off now. Pausing a movie is a joke now. Takes to long. I can get phone and use smartglass quicker. I do know that this is a preview, but fear that it will be forced on us. Microsoft forced us to buy kinect and the only thing
it did well it now does not.

Problems with Cortana

i switched to Xbox instead of Cortana and so far is been better. I don't know how often the Xbox voice assistant uses the internet to verify info. But just as usual the Cortana version is superior in terms of understanding me but Xbox is much quicker to
accept commands than Cortana.

So if its just Cortana and my internet and regular Xbox assistant work fine what can I do? I'd rather use Cortana but its unusable at this point

 

You probably can't. I'm also not a big fan of Cortana on xbox as well.

It's now too long winded.

Trying to turn the volume up with voice commands is too much work now.

You are better off posting on the preview forums though as the devs in charge of updates are more likely to read them.

 

From what I've seen is that they will implement Cortana but provide options for what command structure you want to use. I second the advice to post your concerns through the preview forums so they will hopefully not only implement Cortana.
