How do i use x box game pass code bought in the USA in India

I bought a x bought a xbox game pass from US. I want to redeem it in India but am face this error:

The code was purchased in a different region and cannot be redeemed.

Please help.

While game pass is Available in India, Your code is region locked. You would have to get another subscription for it to work. Lying about your location is not allowed and it could result in even more issues down the road.

I had purchased the xbox live gold membership of 12 months ( estimated retail prize $59.99) from the store with my console, 2 game pads, and xbox game pass.

Everything came in a pack, yet the purchased live gold works but the game pass does not work.

Changing the region of an account do not usually work.

I suggest to make sure that you have these following requirements when it comes to redeeming a code.

Your account region, billing info and your physical location do match the region where the code came from.

So if the code is from US, your account, billing info and your physical location do have the region of US.

If you are refering to the promotional code for a month, then yes that would work. The issue is that you have purchased a card from another region, these purchases are region locked due to many reasons, one of which is taxation laws. There is no way to
transfer these cards to your region.
